Job summary

Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a Crisis Support Specialist to support the Emergency Services team. The role alternates between administrative duties for deployments and field deployments with ES clinicians and peers to respond to client crises.

The position demands strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver’s license with adequate auto insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred in Psychology or Human Services.
• 1–2 years related work experience and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication; able to work in fast‑paced settings.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to ES team before, during, and after deployments.
• Respond to the ES Support Line and coordinate with hospitals, police, and partners.
• Assist with apartment admissions/discharges and supervise crisis apartments briefly.
• Maintain safety checks, upkeep of vehicles, and completion of operational tasks.
• Support deployments where a peer or clinician is unavailable.
