Job summary
Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production machines. You will support maintenance with PLC programming changes and document repairs in the EAM system.
The role trains on day shift for up to 2 months before moving to evening shift, with a strong benefits package including a sign-on bonus. The position emphasizes safety, equipment optimization, and close collaboration with CEPG and maintenance teams to improve reliability
Qualifications
- 2 years of related work experience required.
- Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Forklift and aerial platform licenses required or obtainable.
- Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production equipment.
- Repair and implement PLC programming changes for reliability.
- Document repairs and maintenance in the EAM system.
- Operate servo/VFD/motor controls and assist with machine improvements.
