Job summary

Marvin is hiring an Evening Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment, including PLC controls. Work involves ladder logic with Allen-Bradley PLCs, documenting repairs in EAM, and optimizing servo and drive systems.

You will train on the day shift for up to two months before moving to evenings, with a competitive hourly wage and benefits. Requires 2+ years in a related role and an associate degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Observe and troubleshoot production equipment for electrical and mechanical issues.
• Proficient use of ladder logic on Allen-Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 500/5000).
• Document repairs and PMs in the workorder system (EAM).
• Manage motor controls, servo setups, and drive parameters.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
• Accurately document set-points and equipment parameters.
