Job summary

Marvin is hiring an Evening Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment. The role covers analyzing equipment, performing repairs, and implementing PLC changes to improve reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The position requires hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000, ladder logic, servo controls, and documenting work in the EAM system. Collaboration with CEPG on improvements is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a closely related role.
• Associate's degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Enterprise Asset Management software experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Observe installed equipment to detect hazards and determine service needs.
• Program ladder logic with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the EAM system.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Maintain backups of PLC and control system programs.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements and assist with PLC support across the plant.
