Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician at our Kansas City, KS facility. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment, including PLC controls, and implement programming changes to improve reliability.

The role includes documentation in the EAM system, collaboration with maintenance, and opportunities to advance with training on day shifts before moving to evening shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a closely related role is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Enterprise Asset Management software experience and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production machines, including PLCs.
• Proficiently use ladder logic with Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 and 5000.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the EAM system.
• Support PLC programming changes and machine improvements.
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical problems plant-wide and provide PLC support.
