Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician at our Kansas City, KS facility. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems on production equipment, analyze problems, and implement repairs to improve reliability.

You will work day shift for up to 2 months before transitioning to evenings, with a Monday-Thursday schedule and OT on Fridays. Our benefits include health insurance from day one, paid time off, a wellness account, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a closely related role is required.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production equipment.
• Proficiently use ladder logic with Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the EAM system.
• Maintain PLC program backups and assist with machine improvements.
• Support electrical troubleshooting plant-wide with CEPG collaboration.
