Job summary

Marvin seeks an Evening Controls Technician at our Kansas City, KS facility to troubleshoot production equipment and PLC controls, ensuring reliability and safety.

You will work the evening shift after a day-shift training period, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a strong benefits package. The role requires 2 years in a related field, preferred technical degree, and licensure for forklifts and aerial platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards, problems, and service needs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the EAM system.
• Configure servo controls and customize VFD parameters.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
• Maintain backups of PLC programs.
• Assist PLC support across the plant.
