Job summary

Marvin is hiring an Evening Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair production machines, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and PLC programming changes for reliability. The role requires PLC experience, servo control knowledge, and ability to work with EAM systems while collaborating with maintenance and CEPG teams.

The position starts on day shift for training, then moves to evening hours, with a 4:00pm–2:00am schedule, plus the potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and perform maintenance or replacements.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, especially Allen-Bradley platforms.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the work order system.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Set up servo controls and VFD operations; service motors.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements and provide PLC support.
