Job summary

Marvin is hiring an Evening Controls Technician at our Kansas City, KS facility. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment and perform ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000.

You’ll document repairs in the EAM system and assist with machine improvements. Shift training on day shift for up to 2 months, then 4:00pm–2:00am, Mon-Thu with OT on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment.
• Operate and program Allen Bradley PLCs with RS Logix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in EAM system.
• Assist with machine improvements with CEPG.
