Job summary

Marvin seeks an Evening Controls Technician to handle advanced tasks on production machines, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues, and improve equipment reliability. You'll work a 4:00pm–2:00am shift after a day-shift training period, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires PLC experience, an associate degree in a technical field, and the ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.

Qualifications

• 2-years experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Observe functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards and maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production machines.
• Utilize ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the EAM system.
• Set up servo controls and VFD parameters.
• Assist with PLC support across the plant.
• Record set-points and parameters clearly.
