Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Evening Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair production machines, including PLC programming changes for reliability. The role trains on day shift for up to 2 months before transitioning to evenings, with a 4:00pm–2:00am schedule and optional OT on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and determine the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical and mechanical components.
• Proficient in ladder logic programming with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the EAM system.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Back up PLC programs and verify performance of equipment.
