Job summary

The Concierge at the American Cancer Society in Jacksonville serves as the first point of contact for guests, managing front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. This role supports the EMPOWER Program and coordinates guest activities and programming.

This part-time position offers $19.50 per hour with shift differentials for evenings and Sundays, working 20 hours weekly, Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in hospitality, customer service, or events is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and support check-in, check-out, and evening front desk procedures.
• Promote and support EMPOWER Program activities, meals, events, and other guest programming.
• Engage guests and encourage participation in activities and programs.
• Work closely with EMPOWER and activity volunteers to coordinate scheduled programming.
• Assist with activity setup and help ensure guests are aware of upcoming lodge events and programs.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, concerns with compassion and professionalism.
