Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking an Evening Concierge at our Hope Lodge facility. You will greet guests, manage the front desk, and support EMPOWER program activities, meals, and events with warmth and professionalism.

This part-time role runs Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM–8:00 PM, with a 10% shift differential after 6 PM and 15% on Sunday shifts. The position offers benefits and opportunities to contribute to patient and caregiver experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hospitality, customer service, events, or community programming is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience working with volunteers or supporting group programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and support check-in/check-out and evening front desk procedures
• Promote EMPOWER Program activities, meals, events, and guest programming
• Engage guests and encourage participation in activities and programs
• Coordinate with EMPOWER volunteers to support scheduled programming
• Assist with activity setup and communicate upcoming lodge events
• Respond to guest questions with compassion and professionalism
• Provide information about lodge amenities and resources
• Complete light administrative duties and maintain guest and program information
• Support the front desk during busy evening check-in periods
• Maintain a warm, welcoming lodge environment
