Job summary

American Cancer Society in Jacksonville is seeking an Evening Concierge for the Hope Lodge, delivering a welcoming front desk experience, handling check-ins/outs, and coordinating transportation and security as needed.

This part-time role (20 hours/week, Sunday through Thursday 4:00 PM–8:00 PM) includes supporting EMPOWER activities, guest programming, and creating a warm, organized environment for patients and caregivers, with shift differentials after 6 PM and Sundays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Hospitality, customer service, recreation, events, or community programming is a plus
• Previous hospitality, guest services or events experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience
• Experience with volunteers or group programming is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and support check-in/out and evening front desk procedures
• Promote and support EMPOWER Program activities, meals, events, and guest programming
• Engage guests and encourage participation in activities and programs
• Coordinate with EMPOWER volunteers to support scheduled programming
• Assist with activity setup and inform guests of upcoming lodge events
• Respond to guest questions with compassion and professionalism
• Provide information about lodge amenities and available resources
• Complete light administrative duties and maintain guest and program information
• Support the front desk during busy evening check-in periods
• Maintain a warm, welcoming, organized lodge environment
