Job summary

Rosecrance Walnut – Champaign, IL is seeking an Engagement Specialist to provide mobile crisis response and engage community members to access behavioral health services. This role supports crisis solutions through collaboration with the clinical team and partners, ensuring compassionate care and ethical practice.

You will work the 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am, with a path to CRSS credential and competitive benefits. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to hopeful recovery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; RSA designation preferred.
• Must hold a DMH RSA designation (Rehabilitative Services Associate).
• Commitment to recovery and Rosecrance mission; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis response in the community when dispatched.
• Engage individuals hesitant to interact with behavioral health professionals; build trust.
• Participate in design, implementation, and evaluation of crisis solutions.
