Chromalloy in Carson City, NV is seeking a CNC Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to manufacture precision aerospace components. This hands-on role covers machine setup, tooling, troubleshooting, and quality inspections in a controlled manufacturing environment.

The role offers a 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with a shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates should read blueprints, use precision gauges, and maintain production standards while following 5S

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, travelers, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with gauges, calipers, micrometers and other precision tools.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Program, set up, tool, and operate CNC and conventional machines.
• Create and install tooling, cutters, grinding wheels, electrodes, and shop aids.
• Adjust offsets and modify programs for production needs.
• Apply machining theory to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain efficiency.
• Inspect parts with gauges and measurement tools to ensure conformance.
• Read travelers, blueprints, and engineering docs.
• Perform secondary operations like deburring and cleaning as required.
• Complete routine maintenance and keep equipment in good condition.
• Update logs and manufacturing documentation accurately and on time.
• Collect data for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor fellow operators and support problem solving.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S work area and follow ISO/UL standards.
