Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machines to manufacture and repair aerospace components. You'll work with strict tolerances, read blueprints, and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes precision, problem-solving, and independent work habits. The shift is primarily Monday-Friday with nights 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, plus a shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Experience operating CNC and manual machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses).
• Manufacture and repair aerospace components to tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges; document results.
