Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan will provide resident-centered care in a not-for-profit long-term care setting in De Smet, SD. You will support daily living activities, monitor vitals, document care, and work under the supervision of a RN to ensure safety and dignity for residents.

Typical duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and responding to resident needs, with a focus on infection prevention and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required by State Board of Nursing or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing and daily living assistance.
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in resident condition.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and mobility under RN supervision.
