Good Samaritan Society, a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of service, is hiring a Nursing Assistant in De Smet, SD. The role provides resident-centered care under an RN, including daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility support. Evening shifts offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements include a CNA certification and a minimum age of 16, with continuing education expectations

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or certification in progress within four months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and eating.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist residents with transfers, mobility and range-of-motion exercises.
