Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Night shift Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our long-term care team at the De Smet facility. You will provide resident-centered nursing care, daily living assistance, and support with mobility under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene, feeding, and documenting care activities. We offer benefits, shift differentials, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board or in process within four months.
• Completes yearly competency testing and 12 hours CE annually.
• Driver status may be required per Sanford Driving Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, and vital signs.
• Support residents in transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Document interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with wellness programs and maintain a clean, safe environment.
