Good Samaritan in Saint James, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support the care team under RN supervision.

The role requires a current CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or enrollment in a training program, a minimum age of 16, and active participation in competency testing and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or in training by date of hire.
• Annual competency testing with 12 hours continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to residents.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and mobility as needed.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the RN.
• Support infection prevention and PPE usage and assist with care plans.
