Good Samaritan Pine River is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. The role includes activities of daily living support, basic health care tasks, and accurate documentation to ensure quality care.

The NA will assist with transfers, mobility, and meal support, while upholding infection control and safety policies. Training for CNA certification may be provided, with opportunities for advancement and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical experience preferred.
• Continuing education credits required annually (minimum 12 hours).
• Medically qualify for driving if applicable per driving policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion.
• Assist with meals, nutrition, and hydration; ensure positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to RN.
