Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for part-time evening shifts in a 80-bed long-term care facility. You will provide resident-centered nursing care, assist with activities of daily living, and support the care team under RN supervision.

The role requires a Minnesota CNA certification or active enrollment in a program, with 12 hours of continuing education annually. Evening shifts run 3:00pm–7:00pm or 4:30pm–8:30pm, with every other weekend and rotating

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or certification in process/Endorsement; facility provides training.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning and walking using proper techniques.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with meals and dining.
• Support infection prevention and PPE use and assist with wellness activities.
