Job summary

Good Samaritan Pine River MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will support daily living activities under the supervision of an RN and help maintain dignity and safety for residents.

You will train for CNA certification as needed and may participate in ongoing education, with evening shift opportunities and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification required or in process within four months of date into the position.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly competency testing and 12 hours CE annually.
• When applicable, CNA certification must be on file or in process with state registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Document resident interactions and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility; support meals and dining.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Support infection prevention policies and participate in departmental tasks.
