Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center is hiring a Nurse Assistant (NA) on a part-time 0.4 FTE schedule with rotating weekends and holidays. The NA works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to provide holistic patient care and assist with activities of daily living.

Applicants must meet CNA requirements such as completing a 75-hour CNA course, possess an EMT certification or be eligible on the state registry, and maintain state BLS certification within the specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Proof of completion of 75-hour CNA course is required.
• Proof of EMT Certification is required.
• Proof of military medical occupation specialty training is acceptable.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, compassionate patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
