Job summary

Alden Poplar Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is hiring for a Full Time Night CNA to provide daily nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, following care plans, and reporting changes to the nursing staff.

Candidates must complete an approved nursing assistant program, have or obtain CPR certification within two weeks, and demonstrate compassion for ill and elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant program.
• Must have CPR certification or obtain within two weeks.
• Good reading, writing and English communication skills.
• Be at least 16 years old and of good moral character.
• Demonstrated interest in caring for ill, disabled and elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care under supervision to residents.
• Follow care plans and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with routine tasks such as feeding, bathing and mobility.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in residents' rooms.
• Document care provided and intake/output as required.
• Attend in-service trainings and participate in team meetings.
