Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Junction City in Junction City, OR is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the evening shift (2p-10p) in a skilled nursing setting. The role focuses on routine daily nursing care aligned with each resident’s plan of care.

Responsibilities include daily care, care plan reviews, and clear communication with nurses and administration, while fostering a warm, respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Have a 10th grade education or above.
• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that personal care needs are met according to wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine changes.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of changes in the resident’s condition so updates can be made.
• Assist residents with daily needs and transportation to appointments.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm environment.
• Ensure residents’ rooms are ready for receiving and help them feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.
