Job summary

Good Samaritan in Windom, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for part-time evening shifts (2:30 pm - 9:30 pm) in a long-term care setting. You will provide resident-centered care under the supervision of an RN, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help with meals and mobility.

A CNA certification is required (or in process), HS diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16. The role includes documentation, infection control, and participation in wellness programs.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required with State Board, or in training within four months.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours; competency testing.
• May require Sanford driving policy compliance and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and meals.
• Record vital signs and document resident interactions as needed.
• Support infection prevention and PPE use per policy.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and activity participation.
• Assist housekeeping and laundry as needed.
