Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Saint Paul, MN seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care while following infection control and PPE policies under RN supervision.

The role includes assisting with transfers, meals, and wellness activities, with an evening shift and 24 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board or in process of obtaining certification; facility provides training.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, and basic health care needs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, meals, and recreation programs as needed.
