Good Samaritan in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant (NA) for evening shifts to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. Under RN supervision, you will help with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, assist with transfers and meals, and participate in wellness programs while upholding infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits.
• For applicable states, certified and registered with the UAP Registry.
• May classify as Sanford Category II Driver with driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, vital signs, and documentation.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and cognitive/psychosocial support; participate in wellness and recreational programs.
