Job summary

Good Samaritan in Windom, MN seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant, Certified, for long-term care. You will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN, and help with mobility, bathing, grooming, and vital signs.

The role requires CNA certification with the state board (or enrollment in a certification program within four months), and a minimum age of 16. Facility training and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification and be enrolled in or working toward certification with state board within four months.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Minimum age 16 years at hire.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living support under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding as required.
• Assist residents with transfers, mobility, and range of motion exercises.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to charge nurse.
• Support wellness activities and recreational programs; participate in committees if needed.
