Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan delivers resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include basic nursing tasks, daily living activities, and observing residents’ conditions per care plans.

Evening shift with a full-time schedule and 40 hours per week. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Compliance with infection prevention and PPE is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing required or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and psychosocial support.
• Aid in transfers, range of motion, meals, hydration, and documenting resident care outcomes.
