Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan provides resident-centered care in long-term care, under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and follow care plans while upholding infection prevention and PPE guidelines.

This full-time, evening-shift role includes strong benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k)) and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. CNA certification with the State Board is required or pursued within four months of employment, with

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification with State Board; certification within four months if enrolled.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, meals, and vital signs.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, walking and ROM exercises.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support infection control practices and PPE use; assist with wellness activities.
