Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of directly related laboratory experience.
• License/certifications: ASCP, AMT, HEW or eligible.

Responsabilités

• Performs qualitative and quantitative tests using automated instrumentation or manual methods.
• Conducts quality assurance procedures and documents results; investigates deviations.
• Assesses accuracy of results and identifies causes of irregular findings.
• Maintains records of tests and final results for patient care inquiries.
• Troubleshoots instruments and documents corrective actions.
• May assist in instructing students and lab personnel.
• Performs phlebotomy according to protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Handles order entry and specimen receipt with customer service.
