Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Central Plant Operator (Building Tech II/III) for the evening shift at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. You will monitor and operate large chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and boilers to maintain water loops for airport cooling systems.

The role involves advanced troubleshooting, inventory management, and recommending equipment purchases to improve efficiency. A strong safety record and effective teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Current universal refrigeration license or related trade licenses.
• 5–7 years of central plant or related experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under stress.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned maintenance, repairs and general facility tasks.
• Mentors and trains fellow Building Technicians as needed.
• Responds to facility service work orders from occupants.
• Troubleshoots building infrastructures.
• Observes and complies with safety policies; completes paperwork accurately.
• Uses standard tools; keeps area clean and organized.
• Identifies opportunities for process/system improvements and implements approved changes.
