Job summary

You will operate energy management systems, respond to trouble calls, perform preventive maintenance, and document logs to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Operate and monitor gas/oil-fired steam boilers and associated pumps.
• Perform minor repairs on boilers, chillers, and pumps; respond to load demands.
• Maintain and read the energy management system; monitor gauges and conditions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate operating logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform minor repairs on gas/oil-fired steam boilers, boiler feedwater pumps, condensate transfer pumps, centrifugal water chillers, cooling towers, chilled-water pumps, condenser-water pumps, and related equipment.
• Start, stop, and regulate boilers, chillers, pumps, and associated equipment in response to facility load demands.
• Adjust the centralized energy management system and field components controlling HVAC and smoke-control systems.
• Monitor gauges, analyze readings, and identify equipment issues to ensure safe plant operations.
