Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Round Rock, TX is seeking a hands-on Central Plant Technician to operate and maintain critical utility systems in a round-the-clock facility. You’ll monitor chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and BAS, perform rounds, document parameters, and respond to alarms to keep equipment running efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in central plant or commercial HVAC, is comfortable with CMMS, and can work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in central plant or commercial HVAC operations.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs and BAS.
• Document temperatures, pressures, flows during rounds.
• CMMS for work orders and maintenance records.
• Willing to rotate shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor central plant systems to remain within parameters.
• Perform routine rounds; record key metrics and respond to BAS alarms.
• Identify abnormal conditions and escalate to Engineering as needed.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, exchangers.
• Support plant startups/shutdowns and maintain CMMS logs.
