Job summary

Michaels Stores in Charlotte, NC is hiring for a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkouts. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms for a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You will engage customers with the Rewards program, enroll Private Label Credit Card customers, and support omni-channel initiatives such as BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including the go-back process and store recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
