Job summary

Michaels Stores in Morehead City, NC is seeking a Store Associate to assist customers, stock shelves, and operate the register with friendly service. You will help customers locate products, enroll shoppers in our rewards programs, and support omnichannel initiatives like BOPIS and SFS.

The role also involves truck unloading, merchandising, and maintaining in-stock conditions. The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, move around the store, and follow safety and SOP

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Promote the rewards program and enroll customers in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and in-stock conditions; complete returns/go back as needed.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior.
