Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide routine daily care to residents in our Minnesota community. You will support ADLs, mobility, and social engagement while upholding dignity and safety as part of a collaborative care team.

The role is part-time (2pm-10:30pm), 0.5 FTE, with every other weekend and holiday requirements. Wage ranges from $19 to $27 per hour depending on experience; prior home care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Prefer 6 months or more experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility while maintaining dignity.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using safe techniques.
• Communicate information and any changes in resident condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.
• Encourage participation in scheduled activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and care needs.
• Observe and report changes in residents' emotional state to the nurse.
• Follow safety and infection control policies and report unsafe conditions.
