Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Caregiver or CNA in Florida to provide routine daily care services to residents in our community. The role supports residents with ADLs, mobility, and social activities, while adhering to care plans and safety policies. Positions available for full-time or part-time with an evening shift (3pm-11pm).

Pay is dependent on experience and certifications. Prior long-term care or home care exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents into and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Communicate appropriate information to a supervisor immediately.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.
• Encourage residents to socialize and participate in scheduled activities and outings and assist with those activities as needed.
• Respond promptly and courteously to all resident alerts, needs and/or requests for care.
• Observe emotional condition and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Check residents to ensure personal care needs are met.
• Ensure safety by assisting in safety drills.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
