Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities in a respectful, person-centered way. In this part-time role, you will work day or evening shifts (7am-11am or 3pm-11pm, with every other weekend and holiday) and help residents with bathing, dressing and mobility while ensuring safety and dignity.

Candidates should meet state and federal requirements and have prior experience in home care or long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Move and transfer residents using safe techniques.
• Document and report changes in resident condition to supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents to walk with or without devices as instructed.
• Encourage participation in social activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Observe and report changes in residents' emotional states to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Ensure personal care needs are met per service schedule.
• Assist in fire or safety drills as required.
