Job summary

Friendship Community Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Heritage House Russellville site. This part-time evening role (Mon-Fri, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM) supports clients with daily living tasks in a safe home and community setting.

You will work on an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality services and maintain essential care documentation. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, transportation when needed, following the plan of care, and ensuring health, safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license required.
• Two+ years' experience with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in basic living skills and daily tasks such as showers, dressing, housekeeping, meals, and budgeting.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments when needed.
• Maintain communication and document client progress and plan of care by end of shift.
• Complete and maintain required documentation and records per FCC policies.
• Follow medication management guidelines and monitor procedures.
• Organize and lead recreational activities and model professional behavior.
