Job summary

Friendship Community Care, Grace House in Russellville, AR, is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the evening shift (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM), Monday through Friday, full-time. The role supports a home and community setting, delivering person-centered care and ensuring safety and dignity.

You will assist clients with daily living tasks, transportation, documentation, and medication procedures while maintaining HIPAA compliance and following FCC policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or at least two years of related experience.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and memos, and communicate effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide; interpret simple data.
• Computer skills: use common office applications to complete forms and records.
• Reasoning ability: follow written or oral instructions and adapt to various formats.
• Physical demands: frequent movement, lift up to 100 pounds, and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic living skills and daily tasks (showering, dressing, housekeeping, budgeting).
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments; ensure license compliance.
• Maintain communication with staff about clients' needs and plans of care.
• Complete required documentation and forms accurately and timely.
• Follow Medicaid and agency documentation and reporting requirements.
• Support in Plan of Care development and safety practices.
