Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Care Partner to provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. You will work in a team to maintain a nurturing environment and promote resident well-being.

This role requires evening shifts (2PM-10:30PM), High School diploma, caregiver training a plus, and First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain. Prior caregiving experience and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Caregiver training is a plus and beneficial.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain it is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) while ensuring safety and privacy.
• Provide compassionate care, engagement, and companionship to promote independence and dignity.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
