Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting safety, dignity and comfort in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include aiding with daily tasks, supporting independence, and encouraging participation in enrichment activities, with emphasis on communication among staff, families, and residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver training is a plus.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• 12+ months of professional caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) per safety protocols.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and room tidying.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
