Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an Evening Shift Assistant Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will be a Registered Nurse providing clinical leadership, guiding day-to-day unit operations, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.

You will oversee nursing practice, supervise staff, and partner with physicians to address concerns, while focusing on safety, quality, and patient experience in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath environment.

Qualificações

• 3 years minimum clinical nursing experience with some Charge Nurse/supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensed as a registered nurse with current NYS registration.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Leads nursing practice according to Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care and Care Delivery Model for the patient experience.
• Oversees and participates in the daily patient care delivery and unit operations during the evening shift.
• Assesses staff competencies, provides feedback, and mentors on the job.
• Collaborates with physician dyad and escalates concerns as appropriate.
• Monitors patient safety, quality metrics, and compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Facilitates unit huddles, communicates concerns to nursing leadership, and initiates service recovery as needed.
• Participates in shared governance and professional development to promote nursing practice excellence.
• Supports administrative and clinical oversight to ensure efficient operations and staffing.
