Job summary

CMP01 Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks an experienced nursing leader to oversee unit operations, staffing, and patient-care quality on a busy hospital floor. You will coordinate clinical and administrative activities to maintain care standards.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and leadership experience; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred. You will mentor staff, manage schedules, ensure compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold

Qualifications

• License/Registration/Certification: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida is required; BLS/ACLS required.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate within 90 days of employment (if in cost center NURSING).
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred; nursing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example and supports floor staff during shifts.
• Plans, organizes and directs activities of all unit staff on the shift.
• Leads during complex or stressful situations and follows up on solutions.
• Maintains cooperative relationships among health care teams with clear communication.
• Conducts Daily Dialogues and provides feedback to improve performance.
