Job summary

The Embassy Suites Georgetown is seeking a PM Cook to join their culinary team in Washington, DC. You will prepare and plate items to hotel standards, manage kitchen cleanliness, and assist with banquet service when needed.

The role requires English fluency and a passion for quality meals across restaurant and banquets, with availability for evenings, weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and culinary experience, and are able to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous culinary experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Flexible schedule with evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s).
• Monitor food stock levels and communicate shortages to the supervisor.
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen.
• Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures.
