Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician for the evening shift (3pm–11pm). The role focuses on accurate assessment, disassembly, repair, and reassembly to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with attention to speed, quality and customer excellence.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, use tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters, and deliver a premier customer experience while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Successful completion of a technical program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; perform welding and painting as needed.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect results.
